On Wednesday, while the boys and girls from first to sixth went swimming, the Junior and Senior Infant children explored movement and rhythm through dance.
After a warm up and some free-style dancing, solo and in groups, we had a great time with guided dance and busted some of our best moves.
We finished our active power hour with a competitive game of musical chairs. We mixed it up by dancing all around the AstroTurf instead of walking around the chairs. We then worked on the fundamental movement skill of dodging too by getting those who were "out" to try and chase the remaining dancers away from the chairs until the the music stopped.
We all had a ball!
