Our Family FUNdraising Run/Walk will now take place a day earlier than planned on SATURDAY, 14th October at 12:00noon (flyer attached/edited for your review).
This change of date was necessary to facilitate our school community to support Golden/Kilfeacle who play in the County Intermediate Hurling Final at 01:45pm in Semple Stadium on Sunday, 15th October.
All sponsorship cards are requested to be returned as scheduled on or before Tuesday, 10th October along with monies collected. Well done to everybody for your efforts so far!
Registration will take place at the school grounds (behind the school) from 11:00am where participants are asked to complete a 'waiver' in advance (one waiver per family will suffice). There is no registration fee for children or adults. However, all donations would be appreciated on the day to add to funds collected from our sponsorship cards. You will also have the opportunity to buy tickets for a raffle which will take place after the run/walk. Refreshments will be served in the school also after the run/walk where people will have the opportunity to see completed works to the school after a three year partial closure.
The 5km route will start from the school grounds via Mantlehill and return back to finish on the school grounds.
